12 sash windows and 1 composite door installed.
A builder had attempted to fit a new window using modern engineering bricks which didn?t match, no brick sill and an aperture was formed by just grinding through leaving no option but to fit the window flush with the outside edge. All of which is not conducive to a Victorian built property.
In order to correct the appearance we sourced matching reclaimed bricks, rebuilt the sides and fitted an arched head which allowed to fit the window behind the outer skin of the brickwork as is standard practise for this period of property. The original box sash windows were replaced with woodgrain uPVC sliding sash windows from the bygone collection.
Internally the windows were finished with period timber architraves and stub cills.
