This delightful Victorian property in Sheffield still had the original timber sash windows from when the property was first built. Although the timber sash windows were original, they were very draughty from being single glazed and suffering from severe rot. The client decided to replace the sash windows with bygone collection timber alternative, wood effect. The outer frames were finished in green and the working sash’s finished in off-white to match the original sash windows.
Internally the windows were finished off with timber architraves and stub sill. New decorative external mullions were also installed to complete the project.
