In the 1980s this property had the original timber sliding sash windows replaced with UPVC casement windows. During the installation of the casement windows the original stonework was also removed, completely changing the look of this Victorian property.
The new owners wanted to put back the original stone features and sliding sash windows. Having seen a previous installation we had completed in Newton, they knew that what they wanted was possible.
The installation involved new Timber Alternative uPVC Sliding Sash windows from the Bygone Collection, new hand dressed Derbyshire stone cills, stone heads and stone mullions. Re-claimed bricks were sourced to re-tooth the brickwork.
Internally, period timber architraves were installed to complete the project.
